“In Color” is an exploration of both digital and film portrait photography. Color and composition work together to create striking imagery that keeps the viewer engaged. In my image-making process, I put a lot of emphasis on the use of texture and definition, including the lack thereof. My studio practice includes the use of household items as a catalyst for innovative lighting, creative background design, and analog scanning/processing. Through glass prisms, haze, and filters, I create images never naturally seen by the eye. “In Color” was on display from October 7th - November 1st, 2023
